In honor of Women’s History Month, the Medgar Evers College Women’s HerStory Month Committee (MEC WHMC), proudly presents Reframing Patriotism: Celebrating the Contributions of Women of Color.
The campus hosted a series of events that celebrate the achievements of women of color, and highlight how these women have historically resisted and subverted marginalization while simultaneously being at the forefront of political, social, and educational advancement. The artwork is representative of forgotten faces of patriotism.
